Asset Skills agrees new partnership with Upkeep Training

Asset Skills is pleased to announce it has agreed a partnership with training provider Upkeep to deliver training and courses in niche areas of the built environment.

Upkeep is an independent educational charity. Its aim is to help people understand how buildings work and how to maintain and improve them. It puts a strong emphasis on practical training, with a variety of learning styles and lots of opportunities for informal learning.

Upkeep's courses cover all aspects of building care and are suitable for people working in facilities management, housing and property.

Wanted: trainers for Upkeep

If you are an experienced housing professional and are interested in becoming a freelance trainer, Upkeep would like to hear from you.

We are looking for such people to help deliver training courses across the UK. We are interested in talking to people with a good knowledge in the following areas:

• construction and building services
• managing repairs services
• energy efficiency

We are looking for people with excellent communication skills who can pass on their enthusiasm in a friendly relaxed manner.

Initial training will be provided to the right candidates. Rates of pay are negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
