Labour Market Information

Quality Labour Market Information (LMI) is key to developing a skills and recruitment strategy that will lead to an effective workforce and to greater efficiency and effectiveness right across the workplace.

Asset Skills uses LMI and intelligence contained in the list below to enhance our understanding of the industries in its footprint.

This LMI draws on a range of qualitative and quantitative data collected by Asset Skills and others to broaden our knowledge of employer needs.

Insight reports

Labour Market Information (Information Advice and Guidance)

Asset Skills produce information advice and guidance (IAG) LMI documents on a quarterly basis. The aim is to provide sector information to individuals and organisations who are responsible for adult IAG.

The documents contain information on, employment entry routes, career paths, transferable skills, pay scales, qualifications and employment and labour market trends. It also contains links to job profiles, case studies as well as sources of additional information.

  • Labour Market Information, including data on companies and the workforce
  • Developments in qualifications and occupational standards
