Asset Skills have developed draft National Occupational Standards (NOS) for residential landlords in the UK.

National Occupational Standards (NOS) describe full occupational competence and as such they complement, but are different from, training courses and professional and educational qualifications.

The questionnaire is seeking your views on these issues:

• do the draft standards cover the primary functions undertaken by residential landlords?
• is the level of competence required in the units appropriate residential landlords in the UK?
