Questionnaire on Green Deal Energy Advisor National Occupational Standards

The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) have commissioned Asset Skills to review and revise the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for the role of the Green Deal Energy Advisor.

The project has analysed the requirements of a qualified and accredited Green Deal Energy Advisor to operate as the starting point of the Green Deal process in domestic and non-domestic property. This includes the lodgement of a new Energy Performance Certificate, the production and communication of a detailed energy report and significant understanding of Green Deal finance and policy implications.

The project is being overseen by a Project Board consisting of DECC, DCLG, the Devolved Administrations and a Steering Group of key stakeholders and employers.

New National Occupational Standards

The NOS have taken into account the feedback from practitioners. The full suite of NOS can be downloaded by clicking here.

A detailed grid to illustrate how the units fit in the domestic and non-domestic suites can be downloaded by clicking here.

The survey has now closed and the results are being analysed.
