The Sector Skills Council for the places where we live and work
You will need to become a member of an accreditation scheme approved by the Secretary of State (see list below for more information) for the category or categories of Energy Assessor you wish to become.
When applying to do so you will either need to, amongst other things, EITHER possess an approved qualification or demonstrate to the accreditation scheme that you have all the relevant skills and knowledge as set out in the National Occupational Standards.
This you can do in one of two ways:

ABBE (Awarding Body for the Built Environment)
