Route for experienced practitioners to accreditation as an Energy Assessor

This is referred to as the APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) route and can be used by practitioners already experienced in energy assessment work to go directly for accreditation. The APEL Framework sets out how this is achieved and includes an application form and details of the “gateway” through which applicants have to pass before they can make a full APEL application.

The APEL framework is currently being reviewed.  If you would like to receive a copy as soon as it’s finalised, please email EPBD@assetskills.org
