Northern Ireland Housing Council

The Northern Ireland Housing Council is made up of one representative from each of the 26 district councils in Northern Ireland.

it meets once a month (except in July) to advise and consult on any matter relating to housing that is referred to them by the Department for Social Development, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, or on matters that appear to them as affecting housing on a wider front.

They also review progress reports brought to them by those responsible for ensuring the delivery of housing services, to measure performance against key performance indicators and objectives.
