Qualifications for school leavers

The qualifications you need

If you decide that a job in housing is for you then you should aim to achieve either:

  • 5 GCSEs Grades A - C (or equivalent), including English Language or a mathematically based subject,
  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration

These qualifications are the entry level for most jobs in housing. Alternatively you could complete a degree in Housing Management. The University of Ulster currently offers a BSc Hons in Housing Management.
