The Sector Skills Council for the places where we live and work
Asset Skills has been allocated £1M by DECC to "kick start" Green Deal by ensuring that a cohort of up to 1000 Green Deal Advisors are trained and qualified over the next few months across Great Britain. At the same time this is helping to build adequate learning provider capacity.
The majority of the funding is being allocated on a regional basis, where the learning providers below have been appointed, following a competitive tendering process.

This "go early" project is not the only means of gaining the Green Deal Advisor qualification and there are many high quality training providers offering the Green Deal Advice course across Great Britain.
