The Sector Skills Council for the places where we live and work
The Green Deal Advisor Go Early training has now come to an end. Click here to download the impartial evaluation that was produced by a contracted consultancy.
Please click here to see the Best Practice Guide for delivering Green Deal Advisor Training. This Guide has been developed based on the experience of the Go Early Green Deal Advisor project.
Asset Skills was allocated £1M by DECC to "kick start" Green Deal by ensuring that a cohort of up to 1000 Green Deal Advisors were trained and qualified across Great Britain. At the same time this was helping to build adequate learning provider capacity.
The majority of the funding was being allocated on a regional basis, where the learning providers below were appointed, following a competitive tendering process. Please note all funding has now been allocated.
This "go early" project was not the only means of gaining the Green Deal Advisor qualification and there are many high quality training providers offering the Green Deal Advice course across Great Britain.
