As part of the Government's Joint Investment Programme (JIP), Asset Skills is working with several training providers to offer partly funded learning in energy advice.
The JIP is a government initiative to encourage employers to invest in partly-funded training and aid economic recovery.
Somerset College is one of the first training providers to offer JIP training in the ABBE level 3 Energy Advice (Home) certificate with ten learners currently on the course and a further intake of 30 learners due to start in September 2011.
