Academy UK (AUK) is working with the Asset Skills Virtual Academy for Business Services. They are currently piloting an online Legionella Awareness programme at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust and would like to offer a similar opportunity to members of the Virtual Academy.
The programme is suitable for facilities managers, supervisory and support staff working in any environment where awareness of legionella needs to be increased.
AUK learning material is interactive, using 3D images, ISO scenarios and voice overs. Assessments are used throughout the programmes, using a bank of changing questions to test the learner. The online material is supported by a work book (if required) which helps the candidate contextualise the learning into their own work environment. Click here to view a demonstration of the course.
AUK e-learning Academy is developing a range of compliance management tools and associated training material for FM functions. The aim of the web-enabled training is to provide a direct response for organisations wishing to reconcile the pressure of time and cost to support the training needs of their key staff. This is particularly relevant in the recent climate of reducing organisational resources and the need to maximise productivity of the workforce.
