Asset Skills UK Academy for Housing

Asset Skills is encouraging housing employers to get involved in its new UK Academy for Housing.

The new venture will run along the same lines as the Asset Skills UK Academy for Business Services and the UK Academy for Property.
 
The aim is to offer practical assistance to employers in the delivery of skills improvement and vocational qualifications, and to achieve good quality training through a selected network of learning providers. Where possible, the UK Academy will also seek to encourage employer collaboration which results in lower training costs through economies of scale.

As part of the new venture, online forums will begin to provide a moderated space for employers, students, assessors and tutors to learn, discuss and debate issues. The housing forums will be available soon.
