Thames Valley Housing (TVH), working with Asset Skills, is running two information sessions promoting the benefits of the Housing Apprenticeship, at the Basingstoke Hilton on the 29th of June.
Apprenticeships are commonly perceived to be for young employees only. This is not the case. They can benefit any employee in your workforce; increasing their skills, providing them with recognised qualifications and enhancing their confidence. They are an excellent way to learn, as they are usually studied in the work environment alongside experienced members of staff, so skills are gained by practice and example.
Michele Densham, TVH Training Centre Manager, will be talking about the TVH Training Centre, which has run the Housing, Customer Service and Administration Apprenticeships since the Centre's inception in 2001, as well as the other courses it runs.
Julie Freemantle from Asset Skills will be talking about the specific benefits to employers of Apprenticeships, in particular the Housing Apprenticeships, which can be taken at levels 2 and 3.
The session will be run twice; once in the morning and again in the afternoon.
