Provision of an assessor recruitment service and forum

Many of the qualifications and apprenticeships available to the sector are newly developed and, consequently, have neither a delivery infrastructure nor a pool of assessors from which providers can recruit.

The need therefore to recruit assessors is an urgent one and the UK Academy will establish an online forum to assist this work and enable those recruited to share best practice and experience with others from whom they are physically remote.

The Academy will also proactively recruit assessors through:

• Newsletters

• Articles in trade and regional press

• Websites

• Conferences

• New media - LinkedIn/Twitter/YouTube, etc
