Last few places available on the HNC Housing Course in Bristol

August 2011

The HNC in housing is a wide-ranging qualification covering most areas of housing work in the public, private and third sectors. It is a two year part-time course taught once a week on Tuesdays in the afternoon and evening at the City of Bristol College.

For those working in sector the course offers a sound qualification to help career advancement. For those not working in housing it provides an excellent grounding in the subject to help enter the sector.

The course covers:

  • Personal and professional development
  • Work-based learning
  • Housing and the legal environment
  • Housing policy and practice
  • Service quality and customer involvement
  • Housing information and research

The course is validated by Edexcel and Plymouth University. This coming year the price is £1,245 and there is a means tested grant available.
