In this edition:

Joint Investment Programme

Asset Skills has been informed that a bid we submitted to the Joint Investment Programme on behalf of the Virtual Skills Academy has been successful and we are now progressing details with the Skills Funding Agency. At this stage the bid is for the first year delivery, due to public spending cuts.

Our bid was for funding covered a range of higher level qualifications, including Level 3 Apprenticeship in FM, Level 3 in Cleaning Principles, Level 3 ILM certificate in FM, and Level 4 BIFM Certificate in FM. We are now in the process of developing an implementation plan and will be in touch with employers as this work progresses.

The Manchester College

This will be our next event in this series and will be held on 21 September. This should be a most interesting event which will combine the College offer for delivery of the FM Apprenticeship with the launch of the College's newly refurbished FM delivery facilities.
