Job Title: Skills Development Manager: Foundation Learning and Employability
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Location: Northampton or Home Based (Northampton Office 1 day per week)
Term: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 35 hours per week (full-time)
Closing Date: 4pm on Thursday 11 February 2010

Asset Skills look after the skills agenda for the Housing, Property, Facilities Management, Cleaning Services and Parking Industries. In addition, we are the lead Sector Skills Council for Employability across all Government licensed Sector Skills Councils.

We are looking to recruit a new team member to lead on the progression of qualifications to the Foundation Learning Tier (FLT) of the Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) and promote the employability matrix developed by the Alliance and Asset Skills. 

The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of the employability agenda and qualifications. They will be committed to the development of employees throughout their working life.  Excellent communication and project management skills should be combined with experience of post 16 education and training. The post will require a willingness to travel across the UK.
