Job Title: Skills Development Manager: Foundation Learning Tier and Employability
Salary: £15,000 per annum
Location: Northampton or Home Based (if latter, attendance at Northampton Office is required one day per week)
Closing Date: 4.30pm, Thursday 11th December 2008
Asset Skills look after the skills agenda for the Housing, Property, Facilities Management, Cleaning Services and Parking industries. In addition, we are the lead Sector Skills Council (SSC) for Employability across all 25 Government licensed SSCs.
We are looking to recruit a new team member to lead on the progression of qualifications to the Foundation Learning Tier (FLT) of the Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) and promote the employability matrix developed by the Alliance of Sector Skills Councils and Asset Skills.
The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of the employability agenda and be committed to the development of people at every stage in their working life. Excellent communication and project management skills should be combined with experience of post 16 education and training. The post will require a willingness to travel across the UK.
